SWAP Box – Compact Poster Edition

The SWAP Box provides food banks and pantries with the tools needed to implement the SWAP stoplight nutrition ranking system, supporting healthier choices and advancing food justice and health equity. Foods are ranked based on saturated fat, sodium, and added sugars, nutrients associated with increased risk of chronic disease. Aligned with the Healthy Eating Research Nutrition Guidelines for the Charitable Food System, SWAP helps organizations guide clients toward nutritious options using clear Green (choose often), Yellow (choose sometimes), and Red (choose rarely) categories.

Added by special request, the Compact Poster Edition supports locations with limited wall space and includes eight 12 × 18 inch posters. The Original SWAP Box includes four 24 × 36 inch posters for larger display environments.
